  • "I use several small Plone instances on a server running Debian with OpenVZ containers. I also have one setup on the same machine where Plone is the backend for the news editors and the frontend is a BFG application. The only stability issues I had were caused by too low container limits, but watching the warnings and adjusting the limits fixed all that. The most useful aspect for me is the ease at which you can setup a new container, test stuff until it works, then setup a clean one. I recently migrated a physical machine to a container and that worked almost instantly with only minor adjustments.

    For me performance isn't such an issue, but separation is, so OpenVZ works very nicely for me." (via @fschulze)
